Partnerships

Active Community News considers collaborations that fit its focus on participation, shared skills, gatherings and community spaces, while keeping paid material distinct from editorial work.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly scoped projects such as a commissioned explainer, a reader resource or a relevant event-related feature. Proposals should state the subject, intended audience, proposed contribution and any payment or other support involved.

Partner placements

Relevant partner placements may appear in designated areas across the website, including recurring placements. These are labelled so readers can identify partner material, and placement does not imply editorial endorsement.

Editorial boundaries

Partners may not buy a guaranteed editorial conclusion or control independent coverage. We may decline proposals that do not fit the publication or that make claims we cannot present clearly and responsibly.

Make an enquiry

Send a short proposal through the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include the proposed subject, format and any relevant terms; no existing collaboration or placement is implied.

Our point of view

Participation works best when the next step is clear.

We focus on small, workable choices: how to join, contribute, organise and make room for different ways of taking part.
